Beth Lewis - Third Grade
I received my bachelor’s degree from Indiana University in 1979. I received my master’s degree from Butler University with an endorsement in Learning Disabilities in 1982.
I began my teaching career in the Indianapolis Public School system in a sixth grade classroom. I had done my student teaching in first grade in the same school. Then I was a Title 1 Math Resource Teacher in Wayne Township for a year until St. Malachy School hired me in October 1980. This will begin my twenty-ninth year at St. Malachy School. I have taught third grade, fourth grade, fifth grade, and resource in my vocation at St. Malachy School. What can I say? I love it here!
I believe every child is a unique individual. I will strive to encourage every child to grow to his or her potential. I will listen openly to parents because I believe the parents are the most important teachers in their child’s life.
My faith is most important to me and St. Malachy supports me in my mission “Be As Christ To All.”
