Zach Van Duzer - Mathematics
I attended Ball State University and earned my Bachelor's degree this past year in Secondary Mathematics Education with a minor in Spanish. I will be teaching middle school mathematics for the 2010-2011 school year.
This is my first year of teaching, and I couldn't be more thrilled to be the middle school mathematics teacher at St. Malachy. I was a graduate of St. Malachy School in 2002, so it is great to be back!
I am so excited to start my teaching career at the school where I received a wonderful education. I am happy to be a part of this staff, and I feel like I will be able to contribute to the success of St. Malachy School.
My goal in teaching is to make something that is always perceived as "difficult" or "boring" and make it interesting and worthwhile for everyone. Math is a wonderful tool that, when used correctly, can be very exciting and useful for everyone!
